He has been taken to Midland Regional Hospital in Mullingar, where his condition is understood to be critical.An 18-year-old man and two male juveniles were arrested in connection with the crime a short time later. They are currently being detained at Longford Garda Station.The scene of the incident has been preserved pending a technical examination.
